Born in Missouri, Sandy graduated from Drake University and has produced and delivered creative content in Chicago for the past decade.

Sandy is a founding member of Chicago’s Schadenfreude comedy ensemble, performs with The Second City, and has appeared in numerous films. He has performed in venues around the world including the Goodman, Steppenwolf, The Second City, Improv Olympic, UCB (LA), Area 51 (LA), the Taste of Chicago, Chicago Theater, Lollapallooza, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and numerous others.

He’s also the founder and owner of Marshall Communications, a Chicago-based creative firm. Marshall conceives, writes and delivers innovative, relevant and personal solutions for corporations to enhance message content, product launches and brand expansion. The Marshall Team includes professionals within the film, design, web, consulting, copywriting, marketing and comedy arenas.

He offers workshops enhancing humor and the group creative process in the workplace, nonprofit creation and board development, and keynote messaging and enhancement. He serves on Drake University’s National Arts & Sciences Committee, and the board of past Student Body Presidents.

Clients include Abbott Labs, Allstate Insurance, AlphaZeta, Aon, Central DuPage Hospital, Chicago Public Radio, Drake University, E-View Connections, International Assoc. of Assessing Officers, Heineken, Metropolis Performing Arts Centre, PERL Mortgage, Plum Productions, Thermo Fisher, and the University of Edinburgh.

He enjoys running and downhill skiing.
